At 12:34 p.m., officers responded to the office in Warren County on a report of a disorderly person, who was not identified by police, attempting to leave with a child, Washington Township police said in a release.
Following an investigation, the woman was charged with kidnapping, criminal attempt, contempt of judicial order and failure to be fingerprinted, police said. She was lodged at the Warren County jail, police said.
Police did not respond to an email whether she was trying to leave with her own child.
